VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
ARMENIA

For Tourist Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Armenia. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. One (1) Passport-type Photograph, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. For a stay of less than 120 days in Armenia, the embassy of Armenia will process your application for a single or multiple entry Visitor Visa without an invitation letter.
   
   
5. For a private visit, please make sure that your inviting party has verified the invitation for official travelers at the Consular Department of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
   
   
6. For tourist stays longer than 120 days, an official invitation from a qualifying entity in Armenia is required.
   
   
7. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

For Business Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Armenia. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. One (1) Passport-type Photograph, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. Official Foreign Ministry Invitiation is required (must be original).
   
   
5. A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
   
   Embassy of Armenia, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.
   
   The letter must explain all of the following:
   • The purpose of visit
   • Business reference in Armenia to be visited
   • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.
     
     
6. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

Official/Diplomatic Travel

1. Your Official/Diplomatic passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity.
   
   
2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. One (1) recent Passport-type Photograph.
   
   
4. U.S. Department of State visa cover letter.
   
   
5. Completed Visa Order Form (print from browser).
