VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
CAMEROON

For Tourist Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Cameroon. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. A copy of round-trip arline tickets or a flight itinerary.
   
   
5. International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
   
   
6. A copy of recent bank statement, or a letter from bank verifying applicant has sufficient funds.
   
   
7. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

For Business Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Cameroon. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. A copy of round-trip arline tickets or a flight itinerary.
   
   
5. International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
   
   
6. For multiple entries visa, a notarized letter of invitation from the host in Cameroon is required.
   
   
7. A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
   
   Embassy of Cameroon, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.
   
   The letter must explain all of the following:
   • The purpose of visit
   • Business reference in Cameroon to be visited
   • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.

Official/Diplomatic Travel

1. Your Official/Diplomatic passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity.
   
   
2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. Two (2) recent Passport-type Photographs.
   
   
4. International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
   
   
5. U.S. Department of State visa cover letter.
   
   
6. Completed Visa Order Form (print from browser).

Your application will be checked and hand carried to the Embassy and is usually processed in 7-10 business days. Rush service is also available for a request to the Embassy for processing less than 7 business days.
