VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
GUINEA

For Entry Visa

  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Guinea. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
  3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
  4. A copy of round-trip arline tickets or a flight itinerary.
  5. International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
  6. For tourist travelers, an invitation letter from host in Guinea is required.
  7. For business travelers, a business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

    Embassy of Guinea, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.

    The letter must explain all of the following:
    • The purpose of visit
    • Business reference in Guinea to be visited
    • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S. 

  8. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).


Official/Diplomatic Travel

  1. Your Official/Diplomatic passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity.
  2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed.
  3. Four (4) recent Passport-type Photographs.
  4. U.S. Department of State visa cover letter.
  5. Completed Visa Order Form (print from browser).

    • Gratis/Free for Official/Diplomatic travel

  • Service Fee:
    • $35.00 - Per Visa (5-7 business days regular processing)
    • $59.00 - Per Visa (1-2 business days Rush Processing)
    • $39.00 - Per Official/Diplomatic Visa (3 business days processing)
    • Special Handling Fee may apply for rush processing

  • Return Postage:

    • $25.00 FedEx (Next Business Day / Overnight - up to 3 passports)
    • $19.00 FedEx (2nd Business Day - up to 3 passports)
    • $45.00 FedEx (Saturday Delivery - up to 3 passports)
    • $41.00 FedEx (Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, USVI, Canada - 2nd Business Day/Overnight Delivery) NO SATURDAY DELIVERY

Visa Information

  • The Embassy of Guinea usually issues an Entry visa valid for 2 months from the date of issue and valid for a stay in Guinea of up to 30 days. 
  • Information and visa fees are subject to change without notice.


Important Note: If you require a Rush processing, please call before you mail your documents to us. You MUST send your documents to us by FedEx Overnight/Priority Overnight/First Overnight and call us with your FedEx tracking number. Fail to do so will delay your visa processing.
