VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
INDONESIA

For Tourist Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Indonesia. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. A copy of round-trip arline tickets or a flight itinerary.
   
   
5. A copy of most recent bank statement.
   
   
6. A letter of employment, indicating the employment status of the applicant. If you are retired, please provide a proof of the retirement fund.
   
   
7. A letter explaining your purpose of trip to Indonesia.
   
   
8. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

For Business Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Indonesia. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. A copy of round-trip arline tickets or a flight itinerary.
   
   
5. If multiple entries visa is requested, an invitation letter from a host company or organization in Indonesia is required.
   
   
6. A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
   
   Embassy of Indonesia, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.
   
   The letter must explain all of the following:
   • The purpose of visit
   • Business reference in Indonesia to be visited
   • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.
     
     
7. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

For Social Visit Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Indonesia. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. A copy of round-trip arline tickets or a flight itinerary.
   
   
5. A copy of the host's ID (Indonesian ID) in Indonesia. 
   
   
6. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).
