VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
KYRGYZSTAN

For Tourist Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Kyrgyzstan. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed (MUST BE TYPED) and signed.
   
   
3. One (1) Passport-type Photograph, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. A visa support is required from the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs if Multiple Entry visas and any entry visa for more than 1 month of stay is needed.
   
   
5. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

For Business Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Kyrgyzstan. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed (MUST BE TYPED) and signed.
   
   
3. One (1) Passport-type Photograph, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. An official invitation.
   A visa support is needed from the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
   
   
5. A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
   
   Embassy of Kyrgyzstan, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.
   
   The letter must explain all of the following:
   • The purpose of visit
   • Business reference in Kyrgyzstan to be visited
   • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.
     
     
6. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

Official/Diplomatic Travel

1. Your Official/Diplomatic passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity.
   
   
2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed (MUST BE TYPED) and signed.
   
   
3. One (1) recent Passport-type Photograph.
   
   
4. U.S. Department of State visa cover letter.
   
   
5. Completed Visa Order Form (print from browser).

Your application will be checked and hand carried to the Embassy and is usually processed in 10-12 business days. Rush service is available in 3-4 business days processing for an additional consular fee (Consular fee increased by 100% if rush processing is needed).
