VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
MOZAMBIQUE

For Tourist Visa/Visitor Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Mozambique. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. A copy of round-trip airline tickets or a flight itinerary.
   
   
5. If applying for Visitor Visa, applicant must provide a letter of invitation from the host in Mozambique.
   
   
6. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

For Business Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Mozambique. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
   
   
2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
   
   
4. A copy of round-trip airline tickets, or a flight itinerary.
   
   
5. A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
   
   Embassy of Mozambique, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.
   
   The letter must explain all of the following:
   • The purpose of visit
   • Business reference in Mozambique to be visited
   • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.

Official/Diplomatic Travel

1. Your Official/Diplomatic passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity.
   
   
2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed.
   
   
3. Two (2) recent Passport-type Photographs.
   
   
4. U.S. Department of State visa cover letter.
   
   
5. Completed Visa Order Form (print from browser).
