VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
NIGER

For Tourist Visa

  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Niger. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. Three (3) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
  3. Three (3) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
  4. International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
  5. If arriving from a neighboring country where there is an outbreak of the disease has been reported, International Certificate of Vaccination for Cholera is required.
  6. Copy of a bank statement, applicant must have at least $500 in his/her saving account.
  7. Copy of round-trip tickets, or a flight itinerary.
  8. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).


For Business Visa

  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Niger. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. Three (3) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
  3. Three (3) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
  4. International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
  5. If arriving from a neighboring country where there is an outbreak of the disease has been reported, International Certificate of Vaccination for Cholera is required.
  6. A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

    Embassy of Niger, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.

    The letter must explain all of the following:
    • The purpose of visit
    • Business reference in Niger to be visited
    • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.

  7. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

 

Official/Diplomatic Travel

  1. Your Official/Diplomatic passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity.
  2. Three (3) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
  3. Three (3) recent Passport-type Photographs.
  4. International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
  5. U.S. Department of State visa cover letter.
  6. Completed Visa Order Form (print from browser).

Visa Information  

  • Niger tourist/business visa is usually issued for multiple entries and valid for 1 year from the date of issue for stay up to 30 days per entry.
  • Information and visa fees are subject to change without notice.


Important Note: If you require a Rush processing, please call before you mail your documents to us. You MUST send your documents to us by FedEx Overnight/Priority Overnight/First Overnight and call us with your FedEx tracking number. Fail to do so will delay your visa processing.
