Documents requiring legalization will be processed through the Embassy of Nigeria. In order for the document to be recognized by the Embassy of Nigeria, it needs to be certified by the U.S. Department of State.

Before the U.S. State Department is able to place their seal on your document, it will first need to be notarized by both Notary Public and State Treasury. As a part of our service, we can take your document(s) to DC Notary Public, DC Treasury and US Dept. of State before going to the embassy to be legalized.

Nigeria Fee: $15 for each item listed on the document in case the document has more than 1 item

Nigeria Administrative Fee: $20

Approximate Processing Time At the Embassy: 5 business days for regular processing. Rush Service is available in 3-4 business days processing for additional Embassy Fee of $65 and E&G Visa Services Expedite Fee.
