VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
PARAGUAY

For Tourist Visa

  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Paraguay. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
  3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
  4. Two (2) copies of round-trip airline tickets, or a flight itinerary.
  5. Two (2) copies of your passport's vital data pages.
  6. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).


For Business Visa


  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Paraguay. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
  3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
  4. Two (2) copies of your passport's vital data pages.

  5. Two (2) copies of round-trip airline tickets, or a flight itinerary.
  6. A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

    Embassy of Paraguay, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.

    The letter must explain all of the following:
    • The purpose of visit
    • Business reference in Paraguay to be visited
    • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.

  7. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

 

Official/Diplomatic Travel

  1. Your Official/Diplomatic passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity.
  2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
  3. Two (2) recent Passport-type Photographs.
  4. U.S. Department of State visa cover letter.
  5. Completed Visa Order Form (print from browser).

    • $65.00 - Per Multiple Entry Visa (Stay up to 3 months per entry)   
    • Free/gratis - Diplomat/Official Visa

  • Service Fee:
    • $35.00 - Per Visa (7-10 business days processing)
    • $59.00 - Per Visa (Less than 7 business days processing)

  • Return Postage:
    • $25.00 FedEx (Next Business Day / Overnight - up to 3 passports)
    • $19.00 FedEx (2nd Business Day - up to 3 passports)
    • $45.00 FedEx (Saturday Delivery - up to 3 passports)
    • $41.00 FedEx (Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, USVI, Canada - 2nd Business Day/Overnight Delivery) NO SATURDAY DELIVERY
