VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
PERU



For Tourist Visa (Visa is NOT required for U.S. citizens for stay up to 3 months)

  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Peru. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
    Section (3) on each application form must include a signature, thumb print and photo.
  3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
  4. Copy of round-trip airline tickets, or a flight itinerary.

  5. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).


For Business Visa


  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Peru. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
    Section (3) on each application form must include a signature, thumb print and photo.
  3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.

  4. Copy of round-trip airline tickets, or a flight itinerary.
  5. A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

    Embassy of Peru, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.

    The letter must explain all of the following:
    • The purpose of visit
    • Business reference in Peru to be visited
    • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.

  6. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

 

Official/Diplomatic Travel

  1. Your Official/Diplomatic passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity.
  2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
  3. Two (2) recent Passport-type Photographs.
  4. U.S. Department of State visa cover letter.
  5. Completed Visa Order Form (print from browser).

    • $39.00 - Per Visa (3 business days processing)

    • $25.00 FedEx (Next Business Day / Overnight - up to 3 passports)
    • $19.00 FedEx (2nd Business Day - up to 3 passports)
    • $45.00 FedEx (Saturday Delivery - up to 3 passports)
    • $41.00 FedEx (Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, USVI, Canada - 2nd Business Day/Overnight Delivery) NO SATURDAY DELIVERY
