VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
QATAR



For Tourist Visa

  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Qatar. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed.
  3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
  4. Copy of round-trip airline tickets, or a flight itinerary.
  5. A letter from the applicant stating the reason for visit to Qatar.
  6. Two (2) copies of your passport's vital data pages. 
  7. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).


For Business Visa


  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Qatar. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed.
  3. Two (2) Passport-type Photographs, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
  4. Copy of round-trip airline tickets, or a flight itinerary.
  5. Two (2) copies of your passport's vital data pages.
  6. A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

    Embassy of Qatar, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.

    The letter must explain all of the following:
    • The purpose of visit
    • Business reference in Qatar to be visited
    • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.

  7. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

 

Official/Diplomatic Travel

  1. Your Official/Diplomatic passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity.
  2. One (1) Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed.
  3. Two (2) recent Passport-type Photographs.
  4. U.S. Department of State visa cover letter.
  5. Completed Visa Order Form (print from browser).

    • $131.00 - Per Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (Valid for 1-10 years for stays up to 1 month each visit)
    • $56.00 - Per Single Entry Business Visa (Valid for 3 months and stay up to 1 month)
    • $131.00 - Per Multiple Entry Business Visa (Valid for 1-10 years for stays up to 1 month each visit)   
    • Free/gratis - Diplomat/Official Visa

    • $35.00 - Per Visa (7-10 business days processing)

  • Return Postage:
    • $25.00 FedEx (Next Business Day / Overnight - up to 3 passports)
    • $19.00 FedEx (2nd Business Day - up to 3 passports)
    • $45.00 FedEx (Saturday Delivery - up to 3 passports)
    • $41.00 FedEx (Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, USVI, Canada - 2nd Business Day/Overnight Delivery) NO SATURDAY DELIVERY
