VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
TAJIKISTAN


For Tourist Visa

  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Tajikistan. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
  3. Two (2) Passport-type Photograph, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
  4. A copy of round-trip airline tickets or a flight itinerary.
  5. Cover letter addressed to the Embassy of Tajikistan requesting a tourist visa, or, visa support letter from Tajikistan confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  6. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).


For Business Visa

  1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Tajikistan. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
  2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
  3. Two (2) Passport-type Photograph, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.
  4. A copy of round-trip airline tickets or a flight itinerary.
  5. Visa support letter from Tajikistan confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

OR

A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

Embassy of Tajikistan, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.

The letter must explain all of the following:

    • The purpose of visit
    • Business reference in Tajikistan to be visited
    • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.

Your application will be checked and hand carried to the Embassy and is usually processed in 5-7 business days. Rush processing can be done in Same Day to 24 hours for additional Embassy rush fee.

  • The Embassy of Tajikistan will no longer accept passports that have been ammended, extended or that contain additional pages.


Important Note: If you require a Rush processing, please call before you mail your documents to us. You MUST send your documents to us by FedEx Overnight/Priority Overnight/First Overnight and call us with your FedEx tracking number. Fail to do so will delay your visa processing.
