VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER
ZAMBIA

For Tourist Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Zambia. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
3. Two (2) Passport-type Photograph, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently. (NOTE: SIGNED ON REVERSE)
4. A copy of round-trip airline tickets or a flight itinerary.
5. An International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
6. Persons applying for a Visitor Visa (staying with friends or relatives) must include a letter of invitation from their hosts in Zambia, which should state the following:

• Hosts names and address
• Applicants name
• Length of stay in Zambia
• Purpose of Visit

7. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

For Business Visa

1. Your valid, signed U.S. passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your intended stay in Zambia. You must have at least one (1) blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
3. Two (2) Passport-type Photograph, must be 2" x 2" and taken recently.                               (NOTE: SIGNED ON REVERSE)
4. A copy of round-trip airline tickets or a flight itinerary.
5. An International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
6. An Invitation Letter from your sponsor/host in Zambia
7. A business letter of responsibility (Sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
   
   Embassy of Zambia, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.
   
   The letter must explain all of the following:
• The purpose of visit
• Business reference in Zambia to be visited
• Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant and their return transportation to the U.S.
8. Complete our Visa Order Form (print from browser).

Official/Diplomatic Travel

1. Your Official/Diplomatic passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity.
2. Two (2) Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
3. Two (2) recent Passport-type Photograph.
4. An International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
5. U.S. Department of State visa cover letter.
6. Completed Visa Order Form (print from browser).
